It's the number of completely different worlds that need to come together to turn an idea like this into reality.

Artists, directors, composers, technology specialists, engineers, creatives, project managers, business partners...

Sometimes it feels like we're not organising an event but building a small city. Only this time, inside a church.

Today, more than 30 people are working on the project, with its creative direction led by director Dalius Abaris, alongside composer Kipras Mašanauskas and playwright Mindaugas Nastaravičius.

And over those eighteen months, we've experienced just about everything.

Countless meetings, creative sessions, calculations, decisions, doubts and even more new ideas.

There's probably enough material for an entire documentary about how projects of this scale come to life.

Actually, I've been thinking more and more that making such a documentary would be a pretty good idea.

And here's what I love most about all of this.

I'm becoming increasingly convinced that today's event industry can create something far greater than emotions that last just one day.

We can create new cultural experiences, breathe new life into historical spaces, attract people to cities and leave behind something that continues to exist not just for one evening, but for years to come.

Perhaps this is the most exciting evolution of our profession: moving beyond event management towards creating experiences that become part of a city's cultural life.

This December, the first chapter of this story will begin in Palanga with Prologue. The First Light.

Until then, there's still plenty of work ahead, creative decisions to make and, I'm sure, a few unexpected surprises along the way.

But I'll definitely share more about those.

Because this time, I want to share not only the final result but also the entire journey behind it.

And I really hope to see you in Palanga this December!

A year and a half of work, a large team, 21 projectors and one ambitious transformation of Palanga Church.

Sometimes I think I should be more careful when saying, "What if we gave it a try?"

Because those are usually the words that lead to projects that eventually keep you up at night. In the best possible way. :)

For the past year and a half, the TIME2 team, together with our partners Agnesta Filatovė and Laura Taučiūtė, has been developing a project that goes far beyond traditional event management.

And finally, I can share a little more about it!

Šviesos bangos (Waves of Light) is a new long-term experience combining art, music, architecture and technology, launching on December 18 at Palanga Church.

Just imagine: 21 synchronised projectors, immersive sound, a technological infrastructure worth over one million euros, and the entire architecture of the church becoming one enormous work of art.

But personally, what fascinates me most isn't even the technology.
