From control to trust: team transformation surrounded by nature

Three days in Palūšė, the Basque collective transformation method, and a new approach to the team. We’re sharing our experience of how self-organization transforms an organization from within.

In search of self-organization

This week, our entire team spent three days in Palūšė — surrounded by nature, by the lake, where we explored the Basque collective transformation method. It is based on 10 principles designed to reshape company management and open pathways to personal freedom, while uniting people around a common goal.

This was not a work meeting. We lived and ate together. During the day, we learned to experience work — and ourselves within it — in a new way, while the evenings were filled with conversations, boat rides, and sauna sessions.

We were looking for the answer to what it means to be a team where “we” matters more than “I.” Where there is more trust and less control.
It isn’t necessarily easy, but this is exactly where a new level emerges — self-governance that unlocks energy, creativity, and inner momentum.

Business is no longer linear, and more and more organizations today are choosing this path. And while change is not always comfortable, in a fast-moving market it is inevitable. When everything around us is changing, a living organization must change too.

We have already felt this shift. Inspired and strengthened, we want to create events that help people grow — from the inside out. Who is ready to experience this transformation together?

A big thank you to facilitators Lina Šleinotaitė-Kalėdė and Agnė Dulskienė, who helped us feel the change and gave us the courage to step into it.
